Nas Khan, managing director of Jennings Motor Group, has shaved his head while sitting in a bath of baked beans to raise money for Comic Relief.

The fundraising event was held at Jennings’ Kia dealership on parsons Road in Washington.

Khan said: “Kia is a supporting Partner of this year’s Red Nose Day and our dealership in Washington has been pulling out all of the stops to raise as much money as possible through various fundraising activities.

“As a charity organiser and fundraiser myself, I understand and appreciate how difficult it is to raise money let alone reach fundraising targets, which is one of the reasons I agreed to take part.

“I have had very encouraging support from family, friends and staff.  It all got a bit messy but at the end of the day it was fun and it has boosted the fundraising total which is fantastic and certainly makes it all worthwhile.”
