Website supplier AutoExposure – a division of Manheim’s Motors group – has launched a new online platform for car dealers.
To take account of the plethora of different-sized internet-enabled devices, AutoExposure says its new Flex product is ‘responsive’ – it will change its layout to adapt to the screen of a PC, tablet or phablet (a mini tablet or large phone).
The company quotes research from Google showing that 35% of all automotive searches now take place on a mobile device, up 118% year on year.
Managing director at Motors, Andy Coulthurst, commented: “The cutting-edge Flex websites are developed in-house by our team of technical experts to help dealers capitalise on the latest advances in web design.
“By using responsive technology, dealers can save money and time, avoid having to duplicate content and give customers the best possible online experience, regardless of their access point.”
Optional extras include a finance plug-in and an insurance quotation tool.
