Suzuki GB has announced the appointment of Helen Ward as its field-based corporate sales and leasing manager – a new position that has been created as part of the company’s strategy to build its corporate sales business.
Ward has worked for Vauxhall and Toyota in the past in operational roles and joins us from Honda UK where she was a leasing manager for a number of years and contributed significantly towards the growth of Honda UK’s car sales to leasing companies and the emergency services.
Ward took up her new position on October 7 and will be responsible for developing fleet sales, in particular the all-new SX4 S-Cross, via the major leasing companies, Suzuki Contract Hire and Affinity Partner business and will report to Andrew Wale, national corporate sales and remarketing manager.
Ward said: “I’m delighted to be joining Suzuki at such an exciting time. With the launch of the all-new SX4 S-Cross, we are now well equipped to capitalise upon the opportunities present within the fleet market in both the corporate and public sectors. The S-Cross is the trigger car to help us raise our profile and grow our fleet presence and the first in a fleet appropriate line-up of cars due for launch over the next five years.”

Helen and Andy, the team are back together! The alliance started at Honda, now can they replicate the success at Suzuki, that is the question? A harder job as Suzuki have a range that is of limited interest to fleets. But let us wish the Dream Team every success in selling what are predominently Inidian manufactured Suzukis.
