Following a detailed evaluation process, Mazda Motors UK has approved the use of the HBC Systems range of SMART (small, medium area repair technique) products and equipment.

Optima Smarter Solutions, launched in 2010 by JCA Coatings, is the sole UK importer and the kit will be delivered to Mazda’s 140+ dealers and 125 approved bodyshops via the ACIS network of distributors.

Mazda repairers will also have access to Optima’s accredited training programmes, with subjects including how best to use HBC System products to boost profitability.

Steve Paver, sales manager at Optima, commented: “The approval from Mazda, backed by a tailored programme of training, ensures that the brand’s dealers and authorised repair network will be well equipped to capture a greater share of the burgeoning SMART and rapid repair market.
