Mitsubishi Motors UK has signed up another dealer to its network with the appointment of Canterbury Mitsubishi, which is part of John Parker & Son.

The dealership has opened its doors today and will provide Mitsubishi sales, service and parts for the Kent area, operating from Vauxhall Road, Canterbury, Kent.

John Parker & Son has been in business for over 100 years and is one of the largest steel stockholders in the UK. The car division was added to the business over 20 years ago and has been trading from its Canterbury site ever since. The site also holds the Mazda, Hyundai, Subaru and Isuzu franchises.

Kevin Farrell, John Parker & Son dealer principal, said the business was looking forward to a “long lasting relationship” with Mitsubishi.

Lance Bradley, managing director for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “We are very pleased that Parker's have chosen the Mitsubishi Motors franchise to grow their business in the Canterbury area.

“Mitsubishi Motors will certainly complement Parker’s other Japanese car franchises and will provide excellent service to both existing and new Mitsubishi customers.”

The latest appointment follows on from Rawlinson's adding Mitsubishi in Bury St Edmunds last week.
