BCC wants planned 5.6% business rate rise scrapped

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has called on George Osborne to cancel a planned rise in business rates in the Budget next week.

The BCC believes the chancellor has enough “wiggle room” to cancel the 5.6% increase.
