Springside Motors in Irvine, north Ayrshire have been recognised globally by Kia Motors Corporation as the dealership in the UK that has the highest record of improvement.

Springside was one of only 50 dealers worldwide to receive the Act Smart award – representing 2.5% of the entire global dealer network – currently 4,287 overseas dealerships.

Springside Motors have received the award for a range of improvements across the dealership from enhancing their premises and operations as well as supporting and encouraging its staff through training, customer care as well as organisational improvements in processes, management and personnel.

Graham Irvine, Springside Motors dealer principal, was presented the award from Paul Philpott, president and CEO of Kia Motors UK.

Irvine said: “Here at Springside we are so proud of this award – to be presented it is a great recognition of the hard work and dedication from all the staff at Springside and it shows the level of service and commitment that our staff give to our customers and the dealership.”
