Porsche’s flagship Cayenne Turbo S will be priced from £107,460 and first deliveries are expected in January next year.

The new model is powered by a 550bhp 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and can manage 24.6mpg, the same as the Turbo model, despite receiving a 10% boost in power.

Torque has also been boosted from 700 to 750 Newton metres, which translates to faster acceleration and a higher top speed. The sprint from 0-62 mph takes 4.5 seconds (0.2 sec quicker), and the car accelerates to a top speed of 175 mph (+2mph).

Standard equipment includes air suspension and active PASM damping control, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), which reduces the roll angle in curves.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is also a standard feature, combining torque vectoring on the rear wheels with an electronically controlled rear differential lock to improve traction. The new Cayenne Turbo S is also equipped with the Sport Chrono package as standard.

Design features include air inlet grilles, headlight housings and mirrors, which are painted in high-gloss black.

The 21-inch diameter ‘911 Turbo II’ alloy wheels with coloured Porsche centre badges are exclusive to the Cayenne Turbo S. New leather interior trim packages are also available.
