Robins & Day, the Peugeot UK owned dealer group, has signed up to the new online auction service launched by Cooper Solutions.
The group, which is based at 36 locations across the UK, will trade vehicles through FullAuction.
Traditionally the firm has used local traders’ auctions to sell its unwanted stock from its sites, which stretch from London to Glasgow.
But now that business will now be done online using Full Auction.
Barry Cooper, founder and managing director of Warwickshire based Cooper Solutions, said the system had already helped Robins & Day sell 1,000 vehicles.
Robins & Day was already using Cooper Solutions’ FullForecast and FullFinancials products to run financial aspects of the business.
It ran a trial of FullAuction before deciding to launch it across the group.
Cooper said: "It was a very new concept when we launched FullAuction and while it is growing markedly in popularity, it was a considerable step for dealers to take after disposing of their cars using the traditional methods for so long."
Simon Lawrence, financial director of Robins & Day, said FullAuction has helped the group to improve efficiency, improve recovery of debts and boost its financial performance.
