Saab Automobile Parts UK has been formed following the administration of Saab GB to work with a small network of authorised repairers.

The service network will look after the 190,000 Saabs that are on the road in the UK.

Saab GB's managing director Charles Toosey will now head up Saab Automobile Parts UK.

However, there is still confusion surrounding customer protection with regards to manufacturer warranty.

According to a Saab dealer, customers are now without warranty cover as the money to pay for warranty work comes from Saab AB which is also in administration.

Dealers have been told that AA recovery is still in place for the 3 years /60,000 miles and 12 months/ 15,000 miles dealer guarantee policies that have been supplied on all used cars will still be honoured.
