Halifax Volkswagen has been recognised as one of the top 100 aftersales businesses in Europe for their expertise in customer service during 2009/2010.

The Volkswagen Service Quality Awards are presented annually to businesses that provide outstanding customer satisfaction. 

Halifax Volkswagen, part of the fast-growing CJ Automotive group, scooped the top prize by being voted as the overall winner of the large retailer category.

It was one of eight winners selected based on the size of their business and their performance in aftersales overall satisfaction and first-time fix rates, including six ‘best improvers’.

Volkswagen’s customer service monitoring includes post-service customer research and mystery shoppers.

“As well as high standards in 2009 and 2010, we also had to maintain good performance levels during 2011 to be eligible,” said CJA’s aftersales director Craig Williams.

“The award highlights the increased focus by the team at Halifax to achieve such high standards in customer satisfaction over a long period of time.”

Representatives from Halifax Volkswagen will be flown by private plane to Volkswagen's head office in Wolfsburg in September where they’ll be joined by winners from across Europe and the press at a special event to be presented with their awards.
