An employee of independent aftermarket chain Euro Car Parts kicked his boss in the head after he was sacked following a disciplinary hearing.
Warwick Crown Court heard that after Anthony Whitehouse was told he had failed his probationary period as a driver at ECP, he butted transport manager Neil Taylor in the face, punched him to the ground and then kicked him in the head.
Whitehouse admitted the assault, and was given a 42-week suspended prison sentence plus 120 hours unpaid work, and ordered to pay £500 compensation to Taylor.
