The multi-storey Stephen James BMW dealership in Enfield has become home to a cycle shop on its first floor.
In mid-October the business, headed by managing director Ben Collins, a keen recreational cyclist, opened Stephen James Cycles, which sells premium bikes by Trek and BMW, and includes a cycle workshop staffed by Cytech accredited technicians.
Shop manager James Hewitt said: "The worsening congestion in London means we're all looking for new solutions."
The dealership encourages customers to get their car and bike serviced at the same time, with a shuttle service to the station should they not want to enjoy free wi-fi and coffee while they wait.
Hewitt told cycling website Road.cc it sold two Treks and two BMWs to visitors in its first fortnight.
