Remarketing group Manheim has created a new role of chief technology officer with a remit of leading a review of the technology strategy across its UK and mainland Europe business.

He was previously global vice president of IT at packaging company Linpac and, prior to that, was European chief information officer of GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services.
