Roger Penske, whose Penske Automotive Group is the parent company of the UK's Sytner Group, has reached a deal with General Motors to buy its Saturn brand.
The Saturn brand, one of GM's US operations, will be wholly owned by Penske Automotive Group once the deal is completed in the third quarter.
Penske wants to appoint a global manufacturing partner for the brand.
GM announced last week it would sell Hummer to a Chinese manufacturer.
