BMW Group Academy has appointed training solutions provider VT Flagship to deliver its training at Wokefield Park, Berkshire in a multi-million pound five-year contract.

VT Flagship is carrying out all technical and non-technical programmes to UK-based BMW, MINI and motorcycle dealership employees.

It will also work with BMW UK management to design future training programmes.

Around 40 jobs will transfer from BMW to VT Flagship, which will run the careers programme for the two-year BMW Group dealer apprenticeship scheme, which saw 187 apprentices in learning during the 2007/8 academic year.

In 2008 the BMW Group Academy was awarded a Grade 1 by the OFSTED inspection team for its apprenticeship programmes.
