BMW dealer Murketts of Huntingdon has launched an aftersales initiative aimed at demonstrating to customers that the brand can provide good value servicing and repairs.

The BMW campaign Think we’re expensive? Think again is offering owners of older and out-of-warranty cars “a value for money service and repair programme using genuine parts and lubricants at their most competitive prices” said Murketts.

Vehicles will have a free wash and vacuum along with a vehicle health check.

The value service initiative also applies to Minis.

Adrian Gibbins, Murketts’ aftersales manager said: “We understand that many BMW and MINI owners are monitoring their expenditure in the present economic climate and some may be tempted by non approved independents who claim to offer high quality servicing for less money.

“Sadly for them, this is rarely the case and few independents have the necessary training or expertise that authorised dealers have.”
