Citroen Retail Group has signed a deal to become official vehicle supplier of London Wasps Rugby Football Club.

The agreement will see Citroen London West and Citroen Slough provide Wasp players and staff with a selection of its latest models, including the new C5.

Wasps supporters will benefit from a planned affinity scheme whereby club members will receive special offers on Citroen vehicles bought from the Retail Group’s premises including the club’s local dealerships Slough and London West.

Citoren will also be supporting Wasp’s community development programme by providing a fleet of Citroën vehicles including the new Berlingo LCV and Relay vans.

The sponsorship announcement follows on from a raft of car manufacturer and sporting team ups, including Wayne Rooney as the new Mercedes-Benz ambassador and Monty Panesar as Jaguar's brand representative.
