Renault has teamed up with TomTom to offer integrated satellite navigation on some of its models by the first half of 2009.
Patrick Pelata, executive vice president, leader of the Europe management committee at Renault, said: “Today, Renault is partnering with TomTom to provide an up-to-date fully integrated navigation system for approximately €500 (£397).
“Working with a navigation provider will improve Renault’s flexibility and time to market.”
Further details of the co-op will be made available nearer to launch next year.
