The Highline replaces the SE trim in Volkswagen’s Passat range. VW has replaced cloth upholstery with Vienna leather, added heated front seats and 17-inch alloys to the SE’s specification which includes air conditioning, an eight-speaker stereo and cruise control.

The new equipment adds up to £2,125, but VW has priced the Highline only £250 more than the SE.
