The creditors report for Leslie Reeson Assessors, one of the UK’s largest independent assessing engineers firms, shows the Nottinghamshire-based business had £728,000 of outstanding debts when it went into liquidation in January.

Its assets amounted to £272,000, of which its banker Barclays had a fixed charge of £112,000.

The largest creditor is HM Revenue & Customs, which is owed £329,000.

Other notable creditors include Audatex, Norton Consulting, the Fleet Accident Repair Group, the BVRLA and Delta Salvage.

The company’s 40 staff transferred to Hoopers Nationwide Consulting Engineers.
