PSA Peugeot Citroen revenue for the first half of 2008 stood at £19,383 million, up 1.4% on the same period last year.
Operating profit for the automobile division was £501 million, representing 2.6% of sales, compared with £316 million and 1.7% of sales in first half of 2007.
The group expects a 4% slowdown in Western European markets for the full year of 2008, with a more difficult second half.
However, due to predicted market growth in other regions, PSA expects a 5% increase in sales overall.
