Colin Pester, a wealthy car dealer with a dealership in Plymouth, is critical in hospital after being shot during a bungled robberyof his converted barn home in Whitleigh.

Firearms officers from Devon and Cornwall Police have subsequently arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
