BMW GB has confirmed its attendance at the 2008 Canary Wharf Motorexpo in June. It will promote its new models at the London event, six weeks ahead of the British International Motor Show, which it is not attending.
Volkswagen, Volvo and Porsche are further brands which will exhibit at the Motorexpo from June 9 but not at the British Motor Show, which takes place nearby at London's ExCel centre from July 23.
Motorexpo is a free event which takes place annually in the Canary Wharf business district. Many of the premium and prestige car brands use the event to attract interest from high disposable income executives who work in the financial industry.
Last year's event drew 350,000 visitors, claim its organisers, who added that Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche and Volvo will be exhibiting this year.
