Seat is launching a special edition race-bred special edition of its Leon to commemorate the start of the British Touring Car Championship season.

The Leon FR550, ‘550’ representing the total number of these models being made available, is based on the Leon FR TDI.

The new model adds bucket-style seats with sporty integrated head restraints, 18-inch ‘Draco’ alloy wheels, MP3 connectivity and unique FR550 tailgate badging.

Customers can choose from candy white, black magic, grey, red or lime green citrus body colours.

The FR550 is powered by the same 168bhp, turbo charged 2.0-litre TDI that powers the Leon FR TDI. It’s available to order now at UK Seat dealerships for £18,405, £400 more than the standard FR 2.0 TDI.
