AM100 dealer group JCT600 will complete the move of its VW Bradford showroom to a new £3.5 million purpose built site this weekend.

JCT600 is moving from its old VW dealership on Kings Road in Bradford to the new dealership on Sticker Lane.

The former site was rented from previous franchise holder Dixons and JCT600 wanted to a site it owned.

Taking almost a year to build, the new showroom features an 11-car showroom and space for 100 approved used cars on the forecourt.

It is expected to sell 1,200 new and 800 used cars in its first year of sales.

The service area has been increased from 12 to 14 bays, all with updated VW technology. JCT600 has also invested in a new MoT station in its workshop which is expected to be testing up to 44 cars a week.

The showroom, paid for solely by JCT600, employs 60 staff, all of which transferred from the old site.

Customers being invited to the opening weekend will be given a free car wash and gift, and any customer that buys a car will be given a £250 VW accessory voucher.

The Yorkshire dealer group does not expect the move to increase turnover as it already holds the VW franchise and has just relocated. Turnover for 2007 was £574 million.
