A bodyshop in Dagenham has won a training and development award for the second year running.
AJC Bodyshop in Dagenham was praised after entering the Thames Gateway Business Awards.
Representatives from the firm received a cut glass trophy from celebrity chef James Martin at ExCel in Royal Victoria Dock, London on Friday.
Managing Director of AJC Bodyshop Chris Oliver said: "I think the judges recognised in us a consistent approach to developing our team and recognised it was embedded in our system and not just an add on.
"It is about developing new skills such as leadership, management and team building and building on existing ones."
Last year the company also won an award for Best Young Person of the Year, which went to Kirsten Casey, who still works for the firm as a business support administrator.
AJC Bodyshop has been going for just over 10 years and employs 28 people.
