Park’s of Hamilton has launched a scheme to make motoring more affordable for first-time car buyers aged between 17 and 24.

Launched with the support of Andrew Yule Insurance Brokers’ E-Zee Driver young persons’ insurance, buyers will be offered a special rates on their new car, including six months free cover on top of the purchased 12-month policy and a fast-track to two years’ no claims bonus.

Cars sold through the scheme also come with free tax and £250 cashback.

Park’s head of marketing, Ray Diggins, said the scheme helps young drivers get past the problems of high insurance premiums on their first car: “Getting insurance for young drivers can be painful. I’d just been through it with my own son so I knew just how expensive it could be.

Now, by being able to refer young drivers to Andrew Yule Insurance Brokers and their ‘E-Zee Driver’ insurance, we have overcome that final obstacle.”
