Dealers are being encouraged to get in contact with their customers through new communication software which allows businesses to manage text messages, emails and letters.

The new suite is available from e-GoodManners, the sales lead management company, as an add on to its existing application. It is designed to improve relations with prospective purchasers and to increase follow-up calls.

Users have the option to send SMS messages, letters or emails from a nominated workstation using the customer's preferred method of contact.

Using the data stored by e-GoodManners, which can be imported directly into the suite, dealers are able to personalise the message the customer receives while a fully automated audit facility keeps history of all the communications that leaves the dealership.
