The Japanese manufacturer has set up a dedicated website – www.cx-7order.co.uk, for customers that want to pre-order the CX-7, which will have a restricted UK allocation.
Customers can choose between five exterior colours and black or stone leather upholstery, plus a range of options such as front and rear parking sensors, satellite navigation, a roof carrier and detachable tow-bar.
The 256bhp turbocharged, all-wheel drive Mazda CX-7, priced from £23,960 (on the road), will be available in the UK as a single, highly-specified model.
Standard equipment will include leather seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, climate control air conditioning, cruise control, and a BOSE premium audio system with six-CD autochanger and nine speakers.
Each Mazda CX-7 will be powered by a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission and Mazda’s Active Torque-Split 4WD system. The CX-7 has a top speed of 130mph and will reach 0-62mph in just under eight seconds.
Orders for a Mazda CX-7 placed via the website will be processed before a Mazda dealer will arrange for a visit to place a deposit.
Mazda has also launched www.newmazdacx-7.co.uk to provide detailed information on the new model.
