Subaru has revealed the first official pictures of its new Impreza ahead of its unveiling at the New York Motor Show on Friday.

The Japanese manufacturer will offer a saloon variant, but has also strayed from the Impreza’s normal stylings, in favour of a more standard hatchback design.

UK customers will be able to choose from 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5 turbo engines when the new model goes on sale in autumn.

Prices are expected to start at approximately £20,000. More information will be revelead soon.
