Chris Blue has left Volkswagen Fleet Services where he has worked for the past three years as national fleet sales manager to take up a new role as national fleet manager in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

He will be replaced in Fleet Services in August by Matthew Bowden who returns to the UK after working for three years with Volkswagen in China. In the meantime, head of Fleet Services, Vincent Kinner, and his team of three regional fleet managers will look after Volkswagen’s fleet sales customers along with 12 area fleet managers.

Kinner said: “We would like to thank Blue for his hard work in establishing and maintaining some important fleet relationships. People are key to our business, and we are confident Bowden will be an asset to our team when he returns to the UK later this year.”

Head of operations at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Duncan Sands, said: “We’re delighted Blue is joining our team. Following our sixth consecutive year of growth, the brand is going from strength to strength and Blue joins us at a very exciting time.’
