The Vale Rise retailer has put up the SLK-class roadster for any player scoring a hole-in-one at the Cancer Research UK golf day, which will take place at Dale Hill Hotel and golf club in Ticehurst on March 21.
The event has been organised by Lynn Hyder and her family to raise funds for the nationwide charity after they lost a close relative to the illness. This is the second golf day that the Ashford-based family has organised and in the last three years they have raised over £50,000 for Cancer Research.
Over 80 amateur golfers from Kent will take part in the tournament.
“We have been planning the event for the last six months and to have the SLK-class as a prize will really help make the day,” explained Hyder.
“It is by far and away the best and most valuable prize that we have secured for our charity work and we are thrilled that Mercedes-Benz of Tonbridge was so receptive when I approached them about providing a car.
“The day is set to be one of our best events yet and I’m certain that with such a prize on offer we’ll see competitors trying extra hard for the hole-in-one,” added Hyder.
