More than 56,000 Top Gear readers rated 152 cars, with Honda S2000 taking the top spot for the third year running.
Of the manufacturers, Škoda fared best, securing the number one spot on the brands’ list and placing Octavia, Fabia and Superb in the top 10 cars.
The Japanese marques Honda, Mazda and Lexus placed in the top four, but dealers selling French will be less pleased as Citroën, Renault and Peugeot formed the bottom end of the table respectively.
A spokesperson for Peugeot says: “Peugeot strives to achieve the best possible quality and service levels for our customers; working closely with our dealer network is an intrinsic part of this process.”
However, one dealer tells AM that the manufacturer is telling dealers to cut costs.
Of the premium brands, Mercedes fared the worst, coming in 30th place, with the A-class and M-class voted in the bottom 10 cars.
