Renault Group posted a 5.8% increase in car and LCV sales globally in October, compared with the same month in 2006.
All three brands contributed to the worldwide sales total of 219,411 vehicles, with increases of 4.6% for Renault, 19.1% for Dacia and 4.5% for Renault Samsung Motors.
Sales for the year to October were down 0.1% compared to the same period in 2006.
In Europe, group sales totaled 143,058 units in October, down 1.6% with a market share of 9.5%.
Renault said almost 20,000 orders have been taken for new Laguna since its simultaneous launch in 15 European countries.
Dacia posted a strong sales increase of 79.4%, confirming the success of the Logan saloon and Logan MCV.
Outside of Europe, group sales remain on a growth path with an increase of 23.2%.
