Daihatsu has introduced a new 1.5-litre engine to its Sirion SX variant for the 2008 model year.

And the whole Sirion range has received a facelift, with new bumpers and air-intakes, new wheels, revised front seats and upgraded rear suspension.

The top of the range SX spec has a 100bhp 1.5-litre 16v engine, front spoiler with mesh grille, front foglamps, sideskirts and tailgate spoiler.

It also gains stability control as standard for the first time.
