Credit hire and accident management business Helphire said at today’s annual meeting that trading is in line with budget.

The company has opened two new branches, increasing its total number of depots to 29, and it has increased its credit hire fleet by 56% to 19,200 vehicles.

The number of credit hire cases during the first four months of its current financial year increased 39% to 56,800, and personal injury and vehicle repair claims have also increased.

In August, Helphire recruited CS2 Lawyers Ltd to work on its personal injury related revenue streams.

It is also seeking more links with insurance companies, to provide their customers with standard hire courtesy cars.

Helphire’s interim financial results will be published in February.
