Mazda has contracted Automotive Services Europe Limited (ASE) to provide dealer risk and business management services to more than 2,000 of its dealers in Europe from 1st January 2008.

The solution provided to Mazda requires both the provision of traditional business management information to dealers whilst focusing the reporting and analysis on reducing the overall risk for Mazda and its dealers.

Phil Waring, vice president sales, Mazda Motor Europe, said: "Over the past 20 years manufacturers have continued to produce traditional BM solutions providing ever increasing levels of analysis and paper.

"Dealership business has moved on and the time is right for a different approach which identifies high level KPI's backed by a capacity to drill down where appropriate and supported by a risk management process that monitors financial health.”
