Until March 31, Volkswagen dealers are offering Jetta customers a service package that will cover the cost of servicing for up to four years or 40,000 miles.

Costing just £250, the product works in a similar way to warranty packages offered by manufacturers.

A spokesman for Volkswagen UK, says dealers will all be treated the same, irrespective of their overheads. “There will be no difference in the amount of money made between a dealer in central London and one in northern Scotland as Volkswagen UK will cover the labour rate,” he says.

The package includes two lubrication services, two inspection services and a brake fluid change at 24 months, with a second one at 48 months if applicable.

The deal is only available to retail customers who must register any new Jetta, including the 1.4-litre TSI model, before March 31 to take advantage of the offer.
