East Midlands dealer group, Gordon Lamb has given its management structure an overhaul.

David Dillon, the director and dealer principal, previously responsible for the group’s two Toyota branches has been replaced with two new general managers, one at each site.

Andrew Hartley, who previously worked for Monty’s and latterly, Pentagon Toyota in north Sheffield, takes the helm at Lamb’s Chesterfield Toyota site. Allen Slater will be solely responsible for Lamb’s south Sheffield Centre.

Also joining Gordon Lamb’s management team is Mathew Butcher, new general manager for Lamb’s Renault and Nissan operation in Chesterfield. This role had previously been undertaken by Stephen Lamb over the past 12 months alongside his primary function as CEO.

Lamb said: "At present we have three companies, namely Gordon Lamb Holdings Limited (the parent company), Gordon Lamb Cars Limited (our two Toyota dealerships) and Gordon Lamb Limited (all dealerships bar the two Toyota sites).

From the start of October the two Toyota dealerships will be absorbed into Gordon Lamb Limited, doing away with Gordon Lamb Cars Limited and making the matter less confusing for staff, customers and suppliers alike, plus significantly less onerous for our overall administration function."
