Invicta Motors Ashford, local Ford main dealer and part of the Summit Auto Group, is offering to put £150 towards further training for newly passed drivers.

Working with Driving Instructors throughout Kent, Invicta Motors Ashford has now launched this new scheme to encourage new drivers to take more positive steps to make themselves less vulnerable in their early days of driving.

The money can be used to take Pass Plus lessons, or any other advanced driving skills aimed at raising their driving skills level, when buying a vehicle from them, new or used.

Vouchers worth £150 have been issued to driving instructors throughout the area for them to give to all students about to take their driving test.

“We have spent a long time in discussion with driving instructors in the area to get this right,” says Paul Thomson, one of the business consultants responsible for developing the programme.

“We are confident that schemes like Pass Plus do contribute to new drivers being safer on the road, whatever their age, so we’re very keen to do what we can to encourage more of them to take part.”
