Alongside New Civic, the sale entry featured Accord, Civic, CR-V, FR-v, HR-V, Jazz, S2000 and Stream, the majority 2005-registered at around 10,000 miles. Every car on offer sold for an average of 107 % of CAP clean and 83.2% of RRP, generating a turnover in excess of £2 million.

The 16 new Civic's averaged 97.01% of RRP. A 2005 '55' New Civic five-door 1.4 SE manual in Vivid Blue at 7,800 miles sold for £13,600 equivalent to 99.9% of RRP and a 2005 '55' New Civic 1.8 EX manual, also in Vivid Blue, with 3,655 miles achieved £16,700, an astonishing 100.1% of RRP.

The sale also raised funds for Ben as a Mini Moto motorcycle donated by Honda (UK) MD Ken Keir sold for £525 – well over it's retail value.

The sale was attended by Glass’s Guides’ Jeff Paterson, who said: "Building on the achievement of the Jazz and its rock-solid residuals, Honda look set to enjoy more RV success with the new Civic. It looks fresh and modern, is well-designed and well-built and is already appealing to a wide audience at retail. These factors should see the model enjoy considerable success in the used market."
