Mazda has joint produced a special edition version of its RX-8 with motorsport company Prodrive.

There will only be 800 of the new RX-8 PZ, which goes on sale on July 1.

Based on the 229bhp version of Mazda RX-8 with leather trim, the PZ includes a choice of two colours brilliant black (solid) or galaxy grey (metallic), 18-inch alloy wheels, rear silencer and aerodynamic rear spoiler, lowered suspension, sporty door mirrors, grille mesh inserts on front and rear bumpers as well as ‘PZ’ and 'Prodrive' badging.
