The new model shares its design with the new Corsa which went on sale last month. Customers will be able to choose from two engines: a 1.2 petrol or a 1.3 CDTi diesel.
Vauxhall has increased the amount of storage in the back to 555kg. In total, the Corsavan will swallow a load of up to 0.85 cubic metres, while the longer floor and taller roofline give it an advantage over the previous model.
The Corsavan will come with remote central locking, a CD30 stereo-CD player, side-protection mouldings, under seat storage areas, a driver’s airbag and a full-sized spare wheel. Buyers will also be offered a Plus Pack, with air conditioning, electric windows, a four-piece load compartment cover, heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, front fog lights and a mesh upper bulkhead.
Prices and full specifications will be announced closer to launch.
