Nottingham retailer Famers Skoda is anticipating a busy 2007 with sales between 600-700 new and used units.

Sales manager Jim Blott says since moving sites and rebranding earlier in the year, the dealership has gone from strength to strength.

“Trade has been strong since our official launch weekend in September,” he says. “It’s a great building in a great location and we’re looking forward to a busy 2007.”

Owners Paul and Andrew Farmer acquired the Škoda business, previously called Renshaw & Newsome, 10 years ago.

The brothers subsequently opened Farmers Skoda in Leicester and decided the time was right to combine its dealerships with a re-brand to Farmers Skoda Nottingham.

Chairman Paul Farmer says: “The relocation of the business was necessary as we had just outgrown our old site, and we needed to invest in a modern facility with more capacity.”
