Blackhawk, the repair collision equipment manufacturer, has appointed Junair as its sole UK distributor.

The Lancashire-based company, which specializes mainly in spraybooths, took on the role of sole UK distributor after Blackhawk ceased distribution rights with Stanners at the end of August due to ‘mutual agreement’.

Junair will be carrying stocks for the whole range of Blackhawk products and will also provide a comprehensive sales, service and parts function.

“Since we started selling the products on September 1 we’ve signed up 102 customers. These come from a broad spectrum, including independent garages and main franchised dealers,” says Wendy Lander, customer services manager at Junair.

Blackhawk recently added the MiniPost quick-pull mini-bench, a compact version of the Postlift, to its range.

Max Pickering, sales manager for Blackhawk’s UK and Ireland operations, says: “We are delighted to be working so closely with Junair and feel that its appointment as sole distributor of Blackhawk products within the UK provides both companies with an increased footprint in the market sector.”
