Skoda’s October sales were up 6.8% compared to the same month in 2005.

The Czech manufacturer said it was also on course for a record year of sales, with a 1.7% increase on its sales total year-to-date.

The arrival of the new Roomster accounted for 4.1% of Skoda’s October sales.
