Hyundai recorded its highest ever market share of the UK last year with 1.50%, up from 1.47% in 2005.

The manufacturer’s plans for this year include the launch of the new Sante Fe, Amica and Accent all before the end of summer.

Hyundai will also introduce new engines to its Sonata line-up in spring, which include a new four cylinder 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel and a flagship 3.3 litre V6 petrol unit. The Tuscon model will have two new two-wheel drive diesel variants added to the range towards the end of the year.
