World-famous explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes is to be one of the main speakers at this year’s Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) Annual Dinner.

The Guinness Book of Records has described Sir Ranulph as the 'world's greatest living explorer'. His awards include the Sultan of Oman's Bravery Medal, the Explorers Club of New York Medal, the Royal Scottish Geographical Society's Livingstone Gold Medal, the Royal Geographical Society's Founder's Medal, and both he and his first wife received the Polar Medal. In 1993 he was awarded an OBE for 'human endeavour and charitable services.'

Guests at the dinner will include industry leaders from all sectors including the motor industry, retail and manufacturing, banking, insurance, media, and politics. It takes place on September 15, at the Intercontinental Hotel, Hyde Park, London.
