JCT600 is to move to new head offices in Rawdon, Leeds.

The group is to spend around £10m on the headquarters and a new Peugeot dealership in Bradford and a Porsche operation in Leeds, which should all open in 2006.

Chief executive, John Tordoff, said the group had been forced to look outside of Bradford for its new base.

"We had a good look around Bradford for a head office but there was nowhere unless we wanted to move onto a business park. That didn't suit us."

The group will retain its present HQ in Bradford. "What we do with it is still up for discussion," he said.

The group has existing Chrysler Jeep and Seat dealerships in Rawdon.
